INTERHOLCO (IHC) is a Swiss company founded in 1962 which works in the international timber trade. The tropical hardwood harvested by IHC is certified according to the principles and criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The company takes the FSC certified wood residuals to produce Biochar with a production capacity of approx. 15 000 tons CO2eq. Th biochar is used for soil enrichment iand afforestation projects.
